Whilst the news regarding the situation in Dubai may sound discouraging on some levels, I do not believe that this will have any significant impact on the development of aviation in the region.
Dubai-based carrier, Emirates, is a world renowned airline that serves over 90 destinations, and similar to other regional carriers it operates a hub and spoke model that relies heavily on feeder transferring traffic.
Development of aviation within the region continues with an overall positive growth trend.
