In August 2007, Sandra was appointed Aviation Policy Manager for BAA Limited, where she helped shape and influence UK and EU legislation, including the recently adopted EU Airport Charges Directive. Sandra also led the implementation of aviation related legislation, regulation and government policies across seven BAA UK Airports, including the EU regulation 1107/2006 on Passengers with Reduced Mobility.

Sandra is also well experienced in Air Service Agreement and bilateral air traffic right negotiations, having represented BAA at UK Government Air Service Agreement Negotiations.

Currently preparing a research proposal in application for her PhD, Sandra’s diverse career has been complemented by her ongoing commitment to professional development and she has achieved CDP in Air Law and Regulation at Cranfield University, an MBA in International Business Management from the University of London’s Royal Holloway College, comprehensive Lean Six Sigma Methodology training, and a Bachelor of Arts in Law.
